The CEO of the Nutrition Society (UK), Mark Hollingsworth, and President of the Georgian Nutrition Society, Dr Manana Stanley, attended the 2019 Georgian Independence Day reception at the Georgian Embassy in the UK, with special guest UK actress Joanna Lumley. Joanna has recently visited Georgia for a travel programme on national television and did a great job promoting Georgian culture, wine and food. The GNS would like to thank Georgian Ambassador, Tamar Beruchashvili, for the support that she is giving to the society, promoting UK-Georgian relations.
